Doug Kuhlmann an his High School group from St. Peters, MO. built this home
in Vista del Valle.

In addition, Tyler Lennon and his group from Soapbox, Santa Monica, CA, they
were working at Sergio's Orphanage doing some needed concrete block work.
Kerry Warren, Dave McClellan and their group from Victoria
Community Church, Riverside CA, returned and painted and roofed two
homes while cooking for the kids at Sergio's Orphanage.

May 25-27, 2002
Last weekend we had with us Phil Dunn and his group from Malibu
Presbyterian, Malibu, CA. They built two homes in El Niņo, both for large
families.

This house was built in Lomas de San Antonio. There was enough donations to
buy a used van for the young woman who lived there so she could get to work and
back every day.

Beck Downard organized this group from
Rowland Heights Church of
the Nazarene, CA.
Team Casa de Dios provided the construction leadership. Building a new
home and classic Team Casa latrine for a very wonderful family in Cumbres.
Pastor Jorge dedicated the house as Pastor Hector was preaching in Oregon!

Glen Allen and Bruce Corzine lead their group from St
Andrews Presbyterian Church of Newport Beach. They built a house for a
needy family, also drywalling the inside of Pastor Manuel's church building,
resurfacing the inside of a burnout house.

Baptist Church of Sunland, CA., They built a very nice new home for a needy family
in Cumbres.

We were blessed to have with us Rob McDermott and his group from Malibu
Vineyard, Malibu, CA., They built a home for three Mothers. A Mother, Grandmother
and a sister. It was a big gift on Mother's day!
May 3-5, 2002
Al Day and his group from Grace Presbyterian,
Plano, TX.,
They built a home and latrine and other great work. They were a big blessing to
the family.
Dave McClellan and his group from Victoria
Community Church, Riverside CA, they blessed a Terrazas Church with a
new roof and some drywall.

April 27-29, 2002
Mark Young and his group of 71 people from first
Church of the Nazarene, Montrose, CA. They built two homes and two latrines.
One the first day, it was raining and the cars and bus got stuck in the mud and
they had to push them. They also had to their tools and food up the hill!
Was a great time! On the last day the family
made carne asada tacos for us.

Week of April 19-21, 2002
Dan Steward group with 260 people from The
Crossing, (formerly Calvary Church Newport Mesa),
Costa Mesa, CA., constructed 11 new homes for 11 needy families.
Tom Dunn and his group from Foothill
Vineyard San Dimas, CA, they built a new home very fast and with great
colors!
Jason Babcock and his team that built a new house in 10:30
hours!

Week of April 5-7, 2002
This was one week of much action and great blessings, we had with us:
Mike Kenyon and his group from Irvine
Presbyterian, CA who constructed two houses for
two needed families.
David Rickett and his group from Solana Beach
CA, who constructed
a house and a latrine and shared their experience in the construction with
another group.
Bill Stafierry and his group from First
Baptist, Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley CA, who constructed a house
and a latrine.
Dave McClellan and his group from Victoria
Community Church, Riverside CA, who constructed one home.
Monica Montes de Oca and her group from San Diego CA, who constructed one
house sponsored by Kings High School, Seattle WA, and the valuable aid of
our friend Dave Bower, Bob Allen and Cheryl Walker.

Week of March 11-17, 2002
This was a great week! We had the tremendous blessings to have 501
people working together to share the love of God with their hands and hard
work and with much joy!
Paul Gendron from First
Presbyterian Church, Visalia CA, constructed a house and shared
the Good News with the children of the community.
Paul Spates from Sunnyvale CA, and his 380 people,
constructed 14 new houses! What a Blessing!
Three more groups from the area of San Francisco CA, arrived at the
last moment to construct 4 additional houses.

Week of March 13-17, 2002
This week we had with us a new group of students
from Kentucky directed by George Saba who constructed a
house and a
latrine for a needed family, also painted several houses of neighbors
of the community, was a great blessing to have them with us. |

Congregational Church, they constructed a house and a latrine.
Dr. Michael Bundincich and his group from Sierra Madre, CA,
they constructed a house and a latrine, also presented/displayed the
Jesus film to the neighbors of the community.
Jimmy from Haven House group, He blessed us with doors
windows and paint for these 4 houses and much more.
A Special thanks to: Ray and Norene, Monty, Bill, and other volunteers
who were united to us to work and to share the love of God with these
needed families. Thank you very much for the help! |

To our friends of Team Casa de Dios directed by
Dave
Bower, they constructed a latrine for a family in Vista
del Valle.
Also we had Sue
Morzov and her group from Glendora, CA. They constructed
a new house for a family and painted several houses for the neighbors. The
rain did not keep them from finish their construction and to share their work
and love with the neighbors. Bob Sanders and his team
joined with them to visit house by house and to give the good
news!
We were also blessed to have David
Fisher and his group of Santa Rosa, CA. They worked with much
joy in the construction of a dormitory for the children of the
Orphanage. (to see the photo click in the name)

Week of January 1-8 2002
We have begun the New Year of construction and had with us to our
friends from New York directed by Jack Collins (of Connecticut) and
Heather Dineen and 11 volunteers and the valuable aid of our friend Robert
Katz (from New York) They constructed the first house and
latrine of this year. Glory to God! |
