First Trip with Volunteers Unite

Second one with Irvine Presbyterian

Volunteers Unite

August 10-12, 2001
Volunteers Unite from Glendora, California
We, with God's help, built 2 houses and 2 latrines in the Colonia El Tecolote.

With a crew of 32, many first timers, we were able to complete the
houses with time to spare on Sunday.  This was Volunteers Unites second
trip and they were well organized, and efficient.

More Info coming soon!

Irvine Presbyterian

August 24-26, 2001

We had one wonderful weekend with a group of 85 people directed by Curtis Drever and David Boyd from  Irvine, CA.  www.irvinepres.org

Three houses were built.  This group's sprit was contagious. They involved the local people in many activities and outreach programs.  They have also provided the funding for six latrines!  I will post more pictures later.
