Building Houses and Latrines in Baja California Mexico

October 12, 14 - 2001 - Sierra Madre Congregational Church

This trip was our first after the terrorists attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. We did not know
how the border crossing or other issues would effect the trip. I thank God He made
the way smooth. We had no trouble going into Mexico or returning to the U.S.

The trip went great and it was a blessing for all!

We built one house and latrine in the Colonia El Tecolote Tijuana B.C..

The pictures above are of Julianna and a little gift she gave me. Bob and I lead a team in August that built her family (19 people) a house and latrine. She presented the drawing and gave me a tearful hug. I had a little sawdust in my eyes as well. She and her family have great needs and I pray God will provide for her and her family.
