Building Houses and Latrines in Baja California Mexico
 

Submitted April 26, 2001 by Wendy Murray, SCE after building a home in El Niño, Mexico with Team Casa de Dios, SMCC, Volunteers Unite, World Harvest Faith Center and Sunrise Christian Fellowship.

When I had considered going on this journey, it was mostly to cleanse my mind and I truly do like to work when given the task. No one told me I was going to have fun. It was a really moving and wonderful experience with the family and with all the people that participated on the project. One thing that really made me see things in such a positive way was when you explained that there were no strings attached and that this was in God's hands. I am so looking forward to the trip in June.
